Mission Statement - Office of Research Policy and Development Support

The primary mission of the Office of Research Policy and Development Support is to promote, support and administer sponsored research at Texas A&M University. OSP reviews and approves proposals soliciting external support; assists with negotiation of contracts and compliance of award conditions; coordinates internal grant programs; announces limited submission opportunities and conducts the internal selection process for such; compiles and reports data on research expenditures of Texas A&M University and its agencies to the National Science Foundation and the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board; and fosters electronic research administration with federal agencies and other sponsors.
